Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Solid competency with LAMP stack and browser technologies
- Prior experience with large scale, high volume systems
- Good, clean, fast, and quality code that thinks a few moves ahead
- A disciplined approach to design/architecture, development, documentation and maintainability
- Self-management in the code-test-debug cycle
- At least three years software development experience, with experience of coming up design of non-trivia--features on your own
- A familiarity with a wide variety of software development methodologies, tools, languages and approaches
- Experience working in a Unix environment.
- Excellent communication and team interaction skills.
Preferable Job Qualifications:
- Proven expertise across a broad spectrum of Web 2.0 technologies: DHTML, Ajax/JavaScript, XML, JSON & web services API.
- Interest in latest trends and emerging technologies on the web.
- Familiarity with Y! technologies.
- Project experience in large scale vertica--search
Title:        Engineering Manager ¨C Platform Libraries
Job Location:Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
--Lead and manage our platform library team in design and development of core platform components.
--Work closely with the engineering, product management in different geographica--locations to define and architect features.
--Manage the entire product development and deployment process to meet milestones in both product features and revenue metrics
--Drive recruiting and hit aggressive organization growth goals
Minimum Requirements
--Proven track record in growing/managing medium to large engineering teams and development of large scale Internet products
--Strong technica--skills in designing and implementation of core system components
